This is an approved design for KISS. The creative direction for this was pretty vague other than they wanted something that said, and I quote “The Loudest F@#*ing Rock Band on Earth!” Other than that it was open, they did have specific guidelines to follow through the process though. I had around a 30 page style guide that I had to follow regarding the eras of the make up, the do’s and don’ts on the placement of each band member, colors, logos and just all kinds of stuff. It was quite something, first time I’ve had to read through something of that magnitude before designing. It was a great experience though!

This is an approved design for Def Leppard. The direction for this was pretty specific, that they wanted a light colored female’s Chinese Dragon design with water color style coloring using the text “Love Bites”. They originally wanted the design on a light colored tee but then decided they’d like to see it on dark as well.
After a long wait, the designs that I created for Poison were finally approved! I was increadibly excited about this project. The creative direction for each of these designs was do create something that incorporated elements of Traditional Americana Tattoo design. They wanted one female designa and one male design. I wanted to do something that captured the creative direction but at the same time added something that would capture the glame of poison.
Inspired by Mexican Folk Art, this porcelain statuette of the Virgin Mary is completely hand painted using black, metallic bronze and metallic silver inks. You can see elements of the “El Día de los Muertos ” type of artwork as well as Traditional Americana Tattoo design. This statuette stands approximately 7.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches, shoulder to shoulder in width.
The classic Bad Ass Collection is a collection of bad ass movie characters from the 70’s and early 80’s. These are mixed media pieces on 24×30 gallery wrap canvas’. Used spray paint and stencils with acrylics. In July these pieces will adorn the walls of Rumba, a trendy Nashville night spot.
