HCA|IT&S Onboarding

These are materials that were created for the HCA|IT&S onboarding initiative. These are part of a larger campaign that is designed to make the first day of work for new hires a more creative and engaging experience. The first piece of the project was the handbook which was a collaborative effort between 4 designers which was later expanded into this larger campaign. I took the booklet and used it as a benchmark for the rest of the campaign pieces.

Habitat: t-Shirt

This is a t-shirt design that I created for an HCA New Orleans based Habitat for Humanity build. The requirements for this was to come up with a design that captured the idea of Habitat for Humanity as well as tie the design into an existing 40 Years of Caring campaign, the 40 years logo which I posted a few days ago. I used the color scheme and the organic design elements to tie into the 40 Years campaign.

40 Years of Caring is a brand that we came up with that celebrates HCA’s 40th anniversary. As part of the over all campaign, we suggested that participating facilities plant a tree on the celebration day to represent the growth of each facility in its community. I came up with different options but this logo stood out. The idea took off and a logo was selected.

IT&S According to Plan

This is an annual report design that had a theme of “Planning.” I used that theme to come up with photography that conveyed the message of IT&S’ contribution to the over all corporate strategy for success. This annual report design was submitted to the Annual Graphic Design USA inhouse design competition and was featured in the 2006 GD USA Design Annual.

HCA Hope Fund

The HCA Hope fund was created to assist in the aftermath of natural disasters like Hurricanes, floods and tornados, as well as assist HCA employees dealing with various hardships.
