This is a new skate deck that I designed for Frank over at coolgirldecks.com. I think this deck turned out exceptionally well. Frank and an idea to do a design based on signatures that some girls do after emails or texts “XOXOXO”. So, I kinda came up with this and no changes were needed. Very Kozak!

I forgot to post this when I finished it a little while back, this is a new skate deck that I designed for Frank over at coolgirldecks.com. Frank had a story about a stray chiuaua, later named Lucy, that a friend had taken in and fell in love with. Frank decided to dedicate a deck to her. He wanted to do something that represented the personality of Lucy, “Cute and Sassy.”

I submitted this design to popdeck.com for their Obey inspired “Street Art” deck design contest and won! I got first place in the contest and this deck is available at their website. I’ve always been a big fan of the Obey brand. I use a lot of propaganda style imagery in my own artwork so naturally I would totally dig Obey Giant. This is my homage to Obey for the popdeck.com Obey deck design contest. Its not the traditional hard line shading of Obey but I tried to use Obey as inspiration for this piece as well as keep in touch with my own style. The theme for the contest is “Street Art” and there can be no more than 5 colors. If you would like to see this deck made available please help by clicking here and voting.
